For many restaurant workers, Monday is a day to relax, run errands, get drunk – whatever it takes to unwind from a busy weekend on the job and prepare for the week ahead. In other words, Monday (and sometimes Tuesday) is the weekend for many people who work in restaurants in Seattle. This day off is necessary, especially during the ongoing labor shortage that has understaffed restaurants and overworked employees, but it also makes it difficult to plan for a Monday dinner — and what do you do when you’re a service business that wants yours day off go on a date? The list below should help anyone looking for date-worthy restaurants on Mondays.

King County requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours for all persons 12 years and older indoors, in restaurants and bars. Studies show that there is a lower risk of exposure when dining al fresco, and the level of risk from patio dining depends on restaurants adhering to strict social distancing and other safety guidelines. Please visit King County’s COVID website for resources and up-to-date information.
