The new venue, Cairn Farm Estate, is on the banks of Harperrig Reservoir in Pentland Hills Regional Park and is the result of an idea first developed a few years ago and subsequently through a partnership between the Hamilton family and venue management and event catering – Company developed Hickory.

With their three children on board, the family teamed up with Hickory to “diversify their property and start a new chapter in its history.”

Caroline and Graham Hamilton led the project, with their children taking on individual roles to suit their own abilities. Joanna as interior designer, the younger son Bobby as assistant for finance and finance and Alistair as project manager and carpenter.
