It certainly didn’t disappoint and has gone flawless with new cosmetic surgeries, a bespoke outfit, paid “personal paparazzi” and much more.

Jimmy told Hull Live before going to the races, “People always expect me to give my all. When it comes to parties or other occasions, I always like to go all out with helicopters or limousines. All the attention is then on me.

“I love going out with my friends. I like to be chic and presentable, so I have a new outfit – but I’ll keep it as a surprise for now.

“My friends keep telling me, ‘Jimmy, this isn’t your wedding day, it’s the races,’ but it’s Ladies Day. I’ve had a lot more work ahead of me and I like to make the most of a day like the races.

“I have a feeling that everyone who goes to this event looks forward to it all year round – if you know the races you will know this is a big deal.

“Everyone likes to look like this – everyone looks great. For me there are no cost limits on Ladies Day.

“I think people say it’s like my wedding because I always plan the races like months in advance so that everything goes smoothly on the big day.”

Jimmy, who spends £ 10,000 a year on his performance, had a complete bespoke outfit made for him, including a pair of horse-inspired cufflinks.

He has also increased the use of his facials and subjected more botox, eye fillers, cheek fillers, and lip fillers.

He also had his hair done and is extra tanned because he injects himself with tanning syringes every day.

The perfectionist, who recently appeared on Hooked On The Look, said this was his first major event after a traumatic incident left him home.

In the early hours of Sunday May 30th, he was attacked in the Silvers Bar by two men who repeatedly beat and kicked him while shouting homophobic slurs.

Featherstone said the attackers wanted to “screw my perfect face” for television when he was taken to the Hull Royal Infirmary; his nose was broken by the attackers and a bad wound on his head left a trail of blood on the street and on his clothes.

Since then, his doctor has been diagnosed with PTSD and he continues to have flashbacks and nightmares after a sour night.

Jimmy has slowly started going out with friends and family again, but the Beverley Races was his first major event since the incident.

He was saddened when due to the incident he was unable to attend a charity ball he had been waiting for all year.

But Jimmy shares that his television appearance was not just for self-promotion; he donated half of his income to cancer research.

He said, “I decided that I would donate half of my TV earnings to cancer research because I couldn’t attend.”
