It’s a party! All day parties, 100 plus 1 parties and everyone is invited.
Live Oak County Park in Fallbrook turns 101, and County and Fallbrook are hosting a free all-day celebration from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 17.
Celebrations include reptile and raptor shows, peep and dog walks, planting two large oak trees, events like the Toy Story 4 sunset show, and fun activities like bouncy castles and faces. Be done. -Paintings, photo booths, climbing walls.
You also get two food trucks of Mexican food and 100 live oaks, a gallon of acorns collected from the park.
And of course, visitors also have the option to enjoy Live Oak County Park for themselves. Built in 1920, the park is surrounded by beautiful oak trees and grows from 10 to 27 acres and becomes the center of the Fallbrook community and a popular spot for recreation, weddings, picnics and relaxation. I did.
Visitors can still see Indians piercing the park’s bedrock with acorns long before the park is inaugurated. In recent years the park has been expanded to include an amphitheater, a prehistoric botanical garden, a playground, a softball and soccer field, a volleyball and basketball court and a training station. In 2015, Live Oak County Park became the first to add an unleashed dog park to the county’s parking system. This is a 3,000 square foot area with fences, gates, tables, benches, and pet waste stations for pets to play with their owners. Other dogs.
County Parks and Recreation staff are preparing the park for last year’s Centennial +1 celebration, installing new benches, replacing sidewalks, installing exercise equipment, upgrading the park toilets, and opening the park. We are restoring two concrete tables that date back to that time. Plant over 100 additional native trees and shrubs.
The schedule for the party event is as follows:
- 10:00 am “Peeps and Pooches” walk
- 11:30 am “Jumbo Tree Planting,” the planting of two 36-inch boxwood oaks (visitors can ask for help or just see)
- 11:45 a.m. Live demonstration of reptiles and animal touch table
- 1:00 p.m. Face painting, photo booths and balloon artists run from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the film.
- 3:30 p.m. Demonstration of birds of prey (birds of prey)
- 5 p.m. Bouncy castle, climbing wall and inflatable obstacle course open as a pre-movie event
- 7.30 p.m. Park film “Toy Story 4”.
So come on and celebrate. Celebrating the 100 Plus One Party isn’t every year!
