British actress Sophie Winkleman, who starred in Peep Show and Two and a Half Men, married Lord Fredrick Windsor in 2009. He is the son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Maud was born in LA on August 15, 2013, but was baptized in the Royal Chapel at St. James’s Palace in London.
This was shortly after Prince George, who was born on July 22, 2013.
Maud is related to the Royals as Prince Michael of Kent is the Queen’s cousin.
Maud is actually 53rd in line to the throne and was named after Queen Maud of Norway, daughter of King Edward VII.
Lord Frederick said hello! 2013: “We liked the idea of an old-fashioned English name and there are a couple of Princess Mauds in my father’s family from a hundred years ago.
“One was the youngest daughter of Edward VII, who became Queen of Norway, and another was a granddaughter of Edward VII by his daughter Princess Louise.
“It’s a beautiful, elegant name too, and it has always been our first choice. Elizabeth pays homage to the Queen, Daphne is Sophie’s grandmother who she was very close to, and Marina is my paternal grandmother.”
Maud served as the bridesmaid with Princess Charlotte at Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack Brooksbank on October 12, 2018.
She was also the bridesmaid for Lady Gabriella Windsor when she married Thomas Kingston in May 2019.

Maud also started at Thomas’ Battersea the same year as Prince George.
In an interview with Hello! Sophie Winkleman reveals how close the royal cousins are: “We were invited to tea at Kensington Palace shortly before the birth of Princess Charlotte.
“Maud and George got on really well … He’s a very smart, articulate little boy and has spoken long before other toddlers his age.”
